A Year after Katrina

Are the levees any stronger? Has the Bush administration learned its lesson and become more competent? The answer to both is probably NO! The only positive I can derive from the Katrina disaster is the probability that many people will vote Democrat in two months. These GOP hacks have proven that they are out of touch with reality, only believing in religious mythology and ignoring the nation's real problems. September 11 looms, and I don't feel this administration has succeeded at making the country safer. It has been time for a change for years. American voters, make it happen!

As much as change needs to happen it most likely won't. The religious freaks in the bible belt love how things are and unfortunately they are too strong come presidental election time. Sure we might gain some changes this election year, but it won't be significant enoug.

God help us all if Hillary runs for president.

I see one of your interests is sex. We have at least two things in common if we add the metal.

As long as we have lifer politicians in positions of power, nothing will change. I'm not a liberal, or a Democrat, but that's not the real problem. The real problem is having lifer politicians (on both sides of the line) that are more concerned with lining their pockets than they are with keeping our nation safe. Just my 1/2 cent's worth. Great blog Lefty.

Live After Death is my personal favorite (has a certain rawness to it)....
